1. Create new survey.

 a - adding a new survey step by step,
1. Click "Create a new poll" - upper right corner of any page on the Ankieter.pl site.

On the page that opens, fill in the following fields:

Survey Title / test                 type in something that refers to our survey
Description and brief informationbrief descriptiontyka  of the conducted research,
Tags (keywords): give the keywords to our research         Set the most important characteristics of our questionnaire 

Set the most important characteristics of our questionnaire (validity, access, how to display, etc.) on the same page - If you omit this step, the default settings will be used.

validity: (display of the survey period)
                       end of the study(date of end of study)
                       end of the study after completing the study (----) times(the number of survey sumbmissions, after which it will no longer be active)
                       study is valid all the time(without a designated study end)
Visibility:(to determine how to access the survey)
                       publish a public survey on the site(visible for all users)
                       access poll only through the url(poll is not displayed in the list of surveys, you can only access it through the link)
                       access only with the link and a given password(password-restricted access)
How to display the questions:
                       all on one page(all the survey questions displayed together)
                       separate questions(each question on a single page)
Completing the survey / test: 
                        only once from one computer(survey cannot be completed more than once from your computer)
                        random order of questions - shuffle the questions(questions will be displayed in the mixed order)
                        Random questions from the prepared set - ()(each poll will be drawn from a previously specificified set of questions, for example, 20 out of 100),
                        Do not show results on submission.

                        Time for each question - unlimited-(determine the time to answer each question in seconds)
Once you activate and fill in the fields of your interest, go to the login page (if you're not logged in).

Log in to your account(if you already have an account with ankieter.pl)

Create new account (if you're new)
After login, scroll down and clickAdd

We can start adding questions to our survey. At the top of the page the menu appears:

Preview– preview the current survey and created questions
Publication– link to the survey is displayed here, alongside with the ability to send questionnaires to the respondents of your choice, and paid respondents selection,
The results of the research.– preview results (graphically and numerically) and export them into other programs.
You can manage surveys with the administration panel. Link to that set of operation is located in the upper right corner of the site - Edit Website.

Add questions to the survey:
1 - select the type of questions
2 - specify possible answers amount
3 - write the questions content
4 - set additional parameters
5 - click "add" - the question is now created,

Preview- we can see our poll.
Question Type:   (select the type of questions - the types of questions are explained below)
Question text: (our question to the survey)
Add a picture:(you can add a picture / pictures to the question)
Number of replies:(after typing the number you will see fields to enter answers)
Questions display(questions can be displayed both horizontally or vertically)
Add possible answer of "none of the above"("none of the above" answer type will be added to selected question)
Response required:(mark it if the respondent has to answer the question)

1.b. Question types within the survey:

A. Choice questions:

Single choice questions(respondent can choose only one of the available answers. Choose "single choice question" from the "question types" menu. Then, set the answers number and fill in the form with desired content).

B. Simple checkout questions(the questions are ready to insert into surveys, simply select the desired question and it will appear in the poll):

Yes / no questions(we only specify the question, yes or no answer is automatically inserted to the survey)

Other simple questions to be inserted. We do not have to type the content of questions and answers. After making the selection it appears automatically:

The question of age,(a question about the respondent's age is automatically inserted)

Question about sex.

The question of state of residence(various regions will be given as a choice).

Question about income.(Shown as the drop-down list to choose income range from)

Any question.((Written response input, this kind of question is used for instance to seek respondents' opinions on the topic)

D. Patterns of questions to insert(sets of questions ready for insertion, simply select and they will automatically appear in the survey).

Questions that probe the respondent.

After making the selection the set of questions about age, gender, occupation and place of residence will be inserted into the poll.

1.c. Filter questions. The logic in the questions.

You have the ability to easily switch and jump between the questions depending on answers. For example, if you choose to answer about sex, the next question for men and women would be different.
The use of filtering questions:
1. While creating a poll, choose "Display questions The next questions on different pages".
Choosing this function is necessary because in the case of filtering questions and answers, further questions need to be displayed individually on each answer selection (if eveything would output at the same time there would be no way of filtering answers),
2. Create the whole set of questions and answers - we suggest to plan your survey sheet first.
3. In the edit panel, select "logic" to determine how the transition between questions should look like.

1.d. Premade survey template use.

Premade survey templates are available for the immediate use. Each survey created on Ankieter.pl and available for the public can be immediately used as a template.
How to use the templates:
1 Log into the ankieter.pl
2 Display a list of current polls or go to "poll templates"
3 Select the survey which you want to use and click "create from a template" for a given survey.

The survey has been copied to "My research" (upper right corner). We can now freely edit and change it.

2nd Publish and distribute questionnaires.

After creating and veryfing the survey in the preview, we can publish the survey on the site.
By clicking 'Publishing' on the top menu- Publishing - we are moved to a page where you can manage the display of our survey.

a - a link to the survey,

Link to the survey,- will display a link to your research, you can copy the link and distribute by pasting to the forums (with a fill out request), send via e-mail orinstant messaging (AIM, MSN ...).
Post pollPost poll - post your survey on ankieter.pl, the survey becomes available to fill. After the publication, "deactivate poll" button appears - This feature temporarily suspends display of your survey.
Send via the form- enter the link to your survey, type in email addresses where our link shall be sent, write a short invitation to complete the questionnaire and send. The form allows you to easily send information about your study (mailing) to selected individuals.
 
b - a survey code to place on your own site

Right after the creation of the survey you have the opportunity to place it on any website.
In the "Publish" tab (survey edition) to "Put a poll on your website," click on Place the questionnaire on their own site click on "Create Code" (after setting the width and length of the survey). This will generate the HTML code to paste on the website.

c – sending a survey through our form

Send via the form- enter the link to your survey, type in email addresses where our link shall be sent, write a short invitation to complete the questionnaire and send. The form allows you to easily send information about your study (mailing) to selected individuals.

3. Editing and managing surveys.

My research- top right corner of the page (after login). Go to the list of our surveys and research.

For each survey, we can perform the following operations:

add logo- add any graphics (logo, logos, product images, etc.) to your survey, the graphics will be placed at the top of the survey, near the title,

edit survey / test- Edit survey / test - the possibility of changing the survey data and its properties set on creation (eg, display, timeliness, access, etc.), questions and answers edition is available under the: "Show answer" part.

remove survey / test- removed the survey from the system irretrievably,

post a question- add another question to previously created survey,

show questionsedit, change and correct the questions and answers within previously created survey, show the answers added previously to a poll, you are able to change the questions display order (by default, questions are listed from 0, the sequence is numbered 0,1,2,3. ..)

show the resultsdisplays and saves the current study, the ability to save and export the data (to save the data file, click on the CSV link - this is a format readable by statistical programs and spreadsheets (eg Excel).

browse surveys- displays your survey, and gives you the ability to print each individual survey

Publishing- takes you to the poll publishing options, where you can suspend display of the survey, preview the link, send the poll via email or select your paid respondents,

finance- financial management and paid respondents selection,

4. The results of the study.

You get the ability to save and export results for any statistical programs and spreadsheets. In addition, easy control panel allows you to filter and selection of the results according to your needs, and each individual survey analysis.

a - save the results into CSV or Excel files

In the survey edition panel, mark the title of the survey with: "See the results."
In the next step, click "CSV" or Excel. The ability to save survey results in the selected format automatically appears.
Excel and CSV formats allow further review and editing of the results in any spreadsheet and statistical program.

b - present the results in graphical form (charts, horizontal, vertical, 3d),

In the "results" tab we have the ability to view, save and print the results in various forms: horizontal grahps, vertical and 3d.
  
c - filtering the results according to your own criteria,

In the survey edition panel, mark the title of the survey with: "See the results."
In the next step click "Detailed results".
Red "Filtering the results." text will appear. After clicking it, a list of our questions which form the survey will appear - you can choose which results to display, and which to ignore.
For instance, if you select "woman" wthin the question about sex, the program will only output the surveys which were filled by women.
  
d - viewing each individual survey separately,

In the edit survey panel, mark the title of the survey with: "Explore the survey."
A list of questionnaires completed in order will be displayed. We preview each individual poll, or print the survey and summary of statements.
